DANÚ are an Irish traditional music group based in an Rinn/Ring, Co. Waterford, made up of seven traditional musicians, hailing from counties Waterford, Dublin, Kerry and Donegal. Named Danu after the Celtic Goddess, the group have a strong ethos of loyalty to the tradition from which their music comes and yet still brings a fresh, inspiring approach to their performances
They are known for their high-energy live performances, which feature a vibrant mixture of new material and all-time Irish folk classics.

Keith O’Loughlin: A Banjo Virtuoso with Roots in Corofin’s Famed Melodies
Immersed in the musical richness of Corofin, Co. Clare, Keith O’Loughlin’s life has been a symphony of strings and accolades. Embarking on his banjo journey at the tender age of eight, he has been a force in the Irish music scene, with a string of triumphs at the All-Ireland Fleadh. As a pivotal member of the Shandrum Céilí Band, Keith’s talents have helped secure the prestigious Senior Céilí Band title at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann three years running.
Keith's commitment to spreading the joy of Irish music takes him to stages and classrooms at home and internationally, where his teaching and playing continue to enrich the traditional music community. His recent album, 'No Place Like Home,' is a familial collaboration that sings of his deep-rooted love for music. Catch the spirit of his homeland's soundtrack in each workshop Keith leads – a celebration of heritage and the timeless art of the Irish banjo.
Tara Breen: Clare’s Musical Gem and Fiddle Virtuoso
Tara Breen, County Clare's own prodigy, has been charming the world with her melodies since she first picked up the flute at age six. With her dynamic talent, Tara became a pivotal figure in the iconic Stockton’s Wing and a frequent performer with the legendary Chieftains. Her shelf brims with a host of All-Ireland titles—a testament to her mastery of the fiddle, including the revered All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Title. She's a force of nature, having clinched the Fiddler of Dooney, the Michael Coleman Fiddle Competition, and the Senior Oireachtas fiddle title.
Tara's expertise is so renowned that her fiddle serenaded royalty—none other than the Queen of England during her historic visit to Dublin Castle. But the strings of the fiddle aren't the only ones that dance under Tara’s command; she’s also a celebrated flautist and saxophonist, with All-Ireland titles to show for each. Witness the enchantment of Tara's music at TuneFest, where every note tells the story of her illustrious journey.
Brian O’Loughlin: The Maestro of Flute from the Heart of Clare
Nestled in Corofin, a cradle of set dancing in North County Clare, emerges the distinguished flute player Brian O’Loughlin. A virtuoso who first charmed the tin whistle in his early years, Brian found his true calling with the flute at the age of eight. With a flair that’s both innate and honed, he's been a familiar face on the winners' podium at numerous national Fleadh Cheoil competitions, shining both solo and in ensemble performances.
A pride of the region, Brian has left his mark with the youthful Inis Óg Céilí Band and the celebrated Shandrum Céilí Band, where his musicianship has garnered acclaim. His talent knows no borders, having captivated audiences across Europe with performances and masterclasses that echo his passion for Irish traditional music.
Conor O’Loughlin: Concertina Maestro from Corofin
In Corofin, County Clare, a place pulsing with melody, Conor O’Loughlin has mastered the concertina since age eight. His expertise with this cherished instrument has garnered him numerous prizes at All-Ireland Fleadhs, shining both in solo performances and as part of esteemed bands.

Conor Moriarty is celebrated as one of Ireland's leading accordion players, with a rich history of accolades and achievements. His musical journey started at a young age and by seven, he was already honing his skills. His dedication to his craft led him to win the All-Ireland Champion title on Melodeon at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2009, and he continued his winning streak by clinching the senior All-Ireland accordion Champion title the following year. Conor is also well-regarded for his academic pursuits; he completed his MA in Irish traditional music performance at the University of Limerick in 2010.
Colm Phelan, a native of Portlaoise, is acclaimed for his prowess on the Bodhrán, starting from his childhood. His skill brought him early competitive success, including being crowned as the first World Bodhrán Champion in 2006 and securing back-to-back wins at the All Ireland Bodhrán competition. A graduate in both Irish Music and Dance and an MA in Irish Music Performance from the University of Limerick, Colm released the highly praised solo CD "Full Circle". He's a sought-after Bodhrán tutor, co-founding the international school "Búla Buzz" and regularly leading workshops globally
